eight tonnes of gold: Dresdner researcher has probably a Mayan treasure map decrypted

In the vault of the Saxon State Library in Dresden, and is now 272 years since a mysterious book (Mayan Codex) from the Mayan era. At 74 pages are hieroglyphics of ancient Indian culture.

The 71-year-old Joachim Ritter now claims that he has deciphered the hieroglyphs. The mathematician speaks of a sensational result. The researcher believes that a huge treasure lies dormant in Guatemala. It should be of a eight tons of gold.

Rittstieg deals now for 40 years with the Mayan hieroglyphs. He said: "On page 52 is reported from the Maya capital of Atlan, which was on 30 October 666 BC, destroyed by an earthquake in the city-level 2156 gold plates on which the Maya einritzten its laws.."
